Jeep amps control the speakers and front/rear fade. It is a known issue. You have to wire them using a specific wiring harness that is designed for this. Something like this:

Is the Joying unit specific to your year model? The Joying unit I have in my 2012 is full plug & play and everything works as it should.

[mention]Big Dave [/mention] thanks, mine came with it as well. I have managed to get all the speakers to work, but the rear and sub are very low, doesn’t matter what settings I play with I cannot get them to go any louder.
