Must've been having a bad day with my previous posts, my Pirelli's are actually 265/60R18, not 65. Apologies for the confusion everyone. Stock size seems to be the consensus so far.

I have 265/65R18 on my WK2 and prefer the slightly higher sidewall. It looks better on a lifted Grand Cherokee, and provides a few mm more ground clearance. I wouldn’t go back to a 265/60, but everyone has different needs.

i hear what you are saying , for me i didn't see the need to go bigger due to getting 100K out of my last set , no sidewall punctures apart from one which was my error , and probably the biggest thing was the cost going from /60 to /65 . But like you said each to their own.
