Default TJ lift info part 2

on the reveiw page it has a teraflex 1inch bl kit im going to make mine as im a cheap bastard do i have to do all the extra stuff they say to do like something to do with a vaccum line and stuff like that or is that only covering there arse.

there is more to a body lift than just the spaces. Not much more, but a little

Vaccum line?

From memory a 1" bl really only requires the pucks, the bolts, and thats about it....Although some kits might include brakets for t/case linkage, steering shaft chassis mount spacer and extensions for the fuel lines.....
Oh yeah unless you do a 1" MML you'll need to relocated the shroud or radiator too....

I'm building a 2" inch lift, so far I've worked out that I have to extend fuel filler lines, remove the bottom sroud on the radiator, extends some brake lines, extend a few power steering lines, and make up a new linkage for the 4wd lever thing, oh and cut and ajust the gear shift.
I think thats about it.....and maybe lift the engine, but I'm not sure about that one yet......maybe someone could let me in on that secret.
