Hi all, just had 40mm lift rear springs fitted to my 2014 JGC Laredo . This was done by mechanic who is now trying to fix this new problem ....
Service 4wd system
Service antilock brake system with alarm
So far no success with scan tool and have tried removing positive lead on battery no luck .
This mechanic is researching at the moment and sent me home and I noticed now have no cruise control . Any advice appreciated .

Sounds like some wires and/or sensors may have been damaged during this work.

Ok it appears that a wheel speed sensor was damaged accidentally and replacement is ordered and on the way .
Cheers all.

Plus 2 on this and It make sense the cruise control is not working which is a good thing as confirms what to look for. It depends on which system you have but head over to http://www.wk2jeeps.com/wk2_cruise_control.htm

And whilst a heavy read, is enough for you to fault find as will most likely be one sensor, however it could also be a brake sensor. This should assist hopefully given retraced only the affected wires. They may look okay but if stressed, then no contact. Standard test meter to the rescue. Because it’s stored, The bugger will need resetting and the part I am unsure of is you may de plug and plug and fix the issue and not know it. So lots of checking can lead to nowhere. Better of saying this now so you can asses when to get it reset. If you do ask for the code so you can I’d which sensor was at fault
