DO NOT buy MDC camper, they are the worst of the worst in quality as well as customer service. 2/5 people end up having to take them on legally, I personally don't understand how they are still in business.

Black series are good but their customer service is poor and it takes a long time to get an order from them (6months) if they even remember to contact you when your order is ready.

Ezytrail is the best of these forward fold models, it is the next/latest generation of the blackseries designs including dual water tanks, they are only 2-6 weeks for delivery and are top notch.

MDC are Chinese made ,enough said.(Go to product reviews, a good read) Many of the imports I have looked at have shocking welds, poorly treated steel and painted panels. Cub a few years ago went to Chinese steel. European canvas to save costs so they could compete with imports. Nearly sent them broke with claims.. Now use all Aust raw materials again. Quality of product and after sales service mean a lot when problems arise. Must be why I bought a brand new 2010 GC diesel a few years ago!!

I know it's not a hard floor camper, but have a look at these Adelaide made hard top trailers. http://www.deluxecamper.com.au/Default.aspx?pageID=1 We have a double safari with 30" inch tyres that we have dragged behind our old XJ all over OZ including the GRR, Frazer, & Tanamai to name a few. Have a look at their side version which may suit you too. One for sale here. http://www.caravancampingsales.com.a...=0&pss=Premium ps. All the photos on the Deluxe web site with an XJ in them is our camper & XJ when he hired it for 4 weeks in 2006. We then bought it in 2007 and it's still going strong.
