Default Rear Adjustable Panhard Rod

Hi Guys

I would like to know the correction location to install my new Rear On Vehicle Adjustable Panhard Rod to my TJ fitted with an OME lift
To the same current location as shown in pic,
i.e attached the ARB Panhard Rod relocation bracket
or to the original Jeep OEM location.
New Rear Adjustable Panhard Rod has 85mm of adjustment

Many thanks

Pretty sure you can remove that bracket and just install the new rod.

You can remove the bracket but i prefer to leave it so that the panhard is more horizontal.

If you keep the Old Man Emu bracket, it would pay to spin the bottom bolt around - mine used to foul on the springs when flexing.

You can see marks on the springs (and damage to bolt) where it was rubbing at full flex \/

Bottom bolt turned around to create more clearance with spring. \/

In a perfect world the panhard rod would nearly be parallel with the axle at rest. This is not possible but if you keep the bracket it gets it a bit closer. It is also better if you put the nuts to the inside of the bracket, a bit awkward to do but a better finish to the job.

Thank you very much for the advice. The reason I wanted to fit an adjustable bar was after the lift the rear wheel/tyres were off center by 10mm not much but with the wider flares it stood out.

I tried to get the bar onto the drop bracket, but one way it fouled on the ARB diff cover, the other way it was to close to the tank cover plate hinges for my liking.

So off with the drop bracket back into the OEM mount bracket,
Tighten the two bolts left the adjustable nuts lose to adjust the 5mm

Well on lowering the Jeep on its rear tyres I look to see which side to move. Tyre were perfectly even on the flares, 🤔 guess I will just tighten then adjustable nuts.

Now got equipment for bigger lift
Thanks all
