Default Aftermarket intake and exhaust

G'day,
Long time reader, first time poster.
I currently own an 06 grand limited with the hemi and as much as I love the power and sound, like everything I wanted more of both.
After plenty of research I ended up ordering a magnaflow full cat back and an afe stage 2 CAI. Both came to around $845 AUD from usautoparts.com. I had to use bongo shipping fowarders from the states and hopefully won't be too much shipping (hopefully around the $300 mark)

Does anyone else have either of these and what are your thoughts?

I'll let you know how they go when they arrive

Also was wondering if anyone has done both then added a diablo/superchips tuner, and if it is worth the extra 400-500,

Cheers

Chris

Hi Csl,
the first thing i got for my hemi was the magnaflow exhaust, sounded heaps better and did let the hemi get to peak revs quicker, however we do a fair bit of off road beach/ bush driving and both my magnaflow mufflers split open at the welds, i think the sudden temp changes when water hit them did the damage. I now have a much cheaper 3 inch flow through steel sports muffler and have remounted the original rear resonator (up a bit higher) as it takes the drone out and is a good flow through one anyway. Superchips programming can give u a bit of extra grunt too but mostly i like the change in shift points, with bigger tyres and diff tune the hemi hangs in the gears better and bursts to life at the slightest throttle change -- not good for econ though haha
