Fitted four 50mill lift OME std rate spring set to my WH with OME shocks. Very harsh riding in the front. Pain in the ass on rough roads. Also the front shocks have very poor rebound control. In other words front springs way too hard for the vehicle.

Clarky are the brakes different on the wh compared to the commander, you say along with a few others commander wheels fit on wh's but moab's don't.
what I'm confused about is i brought a set off a jk to replace my commander spare as i smashed one (tried for 12 month's to get commander wheels and i came across 5 jk's brand new for $190).

I checked all measurements, width, offset, back space etc: all where the same as the commander, so i had my spare fitted and i put it on to double check clearance's and it was fine.

I can't remember how much clearance but it wouldn't have been a couple of mm i wouldn't accept that, thats too close for comfort.

Brake calipers are the same on the Grand & Commander, the whole front end & steering column is identical. You have been lucky to get a casting that gave you clearance, the set I purchased didn't.

Here is a thread on jeep forum about it

Strange, so i got lucky, i wander if they produced the wheel from 2 different places and they have slightly different wall thickness or something.

I wonder if there is a way of identifying the difference.
