Why not just replace the towbar and claim the costs? Have you been formally rejected?

Can't just replace the tow bar if you have an auxiliary fuel tank fitted

Yes you can, you just need to buy one of the Mopar tow bars of the older design like I linked in this thread earlier.

They are a bit harder to find now of course, because a few punters got onto this.

I received an email from FCA customer care two days ago saying the fix kit won’t be available till early July now!, 😡
If it is delayed again I’m going to go through the removal, refund process..
