hi bjm

i recently replaced my glow plugs. i got 6 x ngk plus the long nose pliers for reaching the glow plug connector and the coorect socket removal tool from repco for about$150

had to disconnect and move a few thing around under the bonnet - if youve fixed a few cars in your time it should be no problem.

i also took clarkys advice and replaced the glow plug distributor control module this i purchased on line from usa - $150 us

happy trails

I used NGK & they only lasted 12 months so I would go the Bosch. I actually have one of the NGK ones stuck in number 1 cylinder (will undo but wont pull out), I figure it can stay there till I need to do major work. I replaced the NGK's with Tridon's & have had failures with them too.

I did, as over or under torquing them could cause an issue and if repairs were required it would be bloody expensive.

Having said that, I have a small torque wrench, from working on bikes. If I didn't have one I would do it by feel, just be carefull, steel into alloy = easily stripped.
