Hopefully that is the reason the planetary gears are worn
I dont think they are a different cut as the outer gear is exactly the same

Hey RB, the roll pin The one behind the plastic bung hold the selector rail...( It was 2 years back when I pulled it down and a 242 so I'm scratching me pea a bit ) Do you know what size it is ???? metric or imperial ??? About time me thinks I get my SYE fitted... been on the bench long enough..

well there is a first for everything
that being that i used my small hole size gauge set! (ive had it for 10 or so years )
id say the roll pin hole is 3/16

Yep..... the first tap with the pin punch... and the penny dropped this pin doesn't want to come out Fook it...

How ya going to remove the bearing in the blind hole..

Thought I should clean up the transfer
Shit escalated fast
Put it through a hot wash which did absolutely ZERO
so oven cleaner and paint it is.
