Probably needs a good run as well.
i think it has to do with the injector pump, once i get it timed right hope it will be good, might need to swap the No.1 Injector it might be faulty,
as it will idle a little rough and blow white smoke but as soon as you unplug the injector for about 10sec and plug it back in it idles perfect and blows no smoke, untill you touch the accelerator.

its getting timed on wednesday

Charged the battery up ready for some fun in it tomorrow, it doesn't get used much other than for club runs so battery maintenance is most of the work on it

Cheers
Steve

Started on the 7120 head last night. Brushed down with kero and pulled the rocker arms. Pulling the valve springs out tonight to swap the stem seals, ready to swap in with VRS kit, welsh plugs and full service on sunday.

Fingers crossed this will solve the rough idling and stalling!

That sounds unusual. Normally the electronics on #1 injector has no effect at low RPM.
I had the lid of my IP today. It had started to leak when the engine was very cold. The rubber seal had gone hard & shrunk. Swapped it for the one out of my spare IP ~ it was like new. Will see in the morning if it worked.
