Default reverse lights

My 1995 xj reverse lights dont go,bulbs and fuses are ok so it must be the switch.So where is the switch,my xj has 4litre aw4 auto.

thanks dazza, cleaned out NSS and regreased and now have reverse lights again.It was all gummed up just as GOJEEPS write up.Bugger of a job though not much room to swing a spanner.

Piece of urine for you, plenty of space under your XJ. Just watch the bits that jump out when you open it.....
A dirty NSS will also affect starting and cruise control.

It wasnt that bad to do ,but not much room between oil lines.There are 2 copper contacts that are spring loaded in the senser arm that moves across the possition contacts, they where gummed up,so carefull pulling it apart. also the adjustment bolt(top) is locktited in.
