All I can suggest is to make sure you are parked on level ground before trying to retract then extending the belt.

There's a bunch of YouTubes about getting stuck belts to move. Most refer to a belt that won't retract though. Is yours stuck in and won't come out?

take it to the mechanic and they can sort it out. It might require removing the seatbelt from the car momentarily and that should only really be done by someone who's paid to look after that sort of thing. Its a pretty quick fix though. When it happened to my seatbelt the mechanic fixed it in a few minutes

Hi all,

I managed to fix the safety belt myself. It is actually very easy.

Remove the inner pillar covers. (Plastic covering the safety belt mechanism on pillar.)
Remove white dust cap on mechanism from passenger side. Inside you will find locking mechanism (Small device with ball bearing).

I cleaned that out, (was full of sand),every thing just slide and clips back together.

All working now as per usual.

Cheers
