Default JL winch advice

Hey guys, newbie here... Back in January I picked up a demo 2020 JL Rubicon with a factory steel bar installed. Very keen on putting a winch out front but seem to be having a fair bit of trouble finding someone that can help me out. Did a bit of ringing around today to find a part I possibly might need to do a winch install on the factory steel bar. Apparently I need a Rugged Ridge winch mounting plate RUG-11543.16??? Does the steel bar already have a mounting plate?? Do I need this extra part??? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

this is the inside of the skin of your front bar - there is a pop out section for the fairlead.

The second picture is of the remains of the inner steel tray that was cut up to extract the crush tubes to transfer to the ARB bull bar. I don't reckon that you could mount a winch without an additional cradle

So my suggestion is that yes, you need a cradle to fit a winch to the factory steel bar.
edit - link to Mopar winch cradle but there seem to be a few aftermarket ones as well https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/82215182ac.html
