Price of tail lights WK2

I have just asked a Dealer what the price of a rear tail light assemble would be and I am only talking about the outer plastic housing and they quoted me $377 are they serious, has anyone had a similar experience?

I'd say for a complete tail light on a Jeep for $377 smackers from the dealer is cheaper than most , they are all sealed and come as a complete unit , over 1000 bucks for an Audi a6 lamp assembly .

Yeah in the grand scheme of things I think that sounds quote reasonable in dealer currency. You haven't priced factory spares in a while have you. It's a fact of life these days that pretty much anything from a dealer is way overpriced for what it really is.

Welcome to Jeep - but if you buy direct from the US you can usually find a better price, although sometimes if its not OEM, then quality can vary. Eg fade?

There is a wrecker in Perth that may have them for sale.

I know someone that got a rear JK light (whole assembly) for under $90. Not bad considering Jeep charge $280.
