I've had the same issue where it would randomly misfire, and it wasn't a big misfire but you could feel it enough to be annoying. Slight loss of power too.

I did the same thing as you hunty, replaced the leads etc and you know what is was? a sparplug with a hairline crack in the ceramic. Couldn't see it AT ALL until I ran my dirty finger on it and the oil made the outline of the crack.

Replaced the spark plug and all good. I now carry a spake in the centre console

Angry D'oh take 3

6 new leads & 6 new plugs and now its worse - can't drive it now its running sooooo rough and have yellow engine light and fault code (cylinder 4)
rang Jeep late friday arvo and ordered a new coil Pak - ill pick it up on monday and hope the b@$(@%) runs properly

I assume you have checked the lead is on correctly and the plug gap is correct on cyl 4?

Seems odd it would be worse i.e. not drivable after changing plugs and leads

When the mechanic changed my leads (as part of a service) they did not plug 3 of the leads back on properly, now that misfired! The lead had pushed back up inside the cover and they had just pushed the cover over the plug.
