WG erratic idle on startup

Done by Hammond 4wd Capalaba. Jeep specialist apparently

The engine was dropped to replace the injectors as mechanic said they never cut holes in to get to 4 and 5. Also required new engine mounts, water pump, h/p steering line and fix leak in pump.
Rebuild diesel pump (done by diesel australia) All up it was about $7500 if I remember correctly
Could you tell me where to get the diag tool pls

EDIT: I should also add that the repairers you mentioned are both reputable. Full disclosure, the owner of Diesel Australia is a friend of a friend. Nonetheless, he knows his stuff.

How did you go with the diagnostics JimmyJ?

Note that the app is Android only, search for "WJDiag Pro" in the Google Play store.
Make sure that you use a decent ELM327 OBD2 scanner, there are recommendations on the jeepswj.com web site.

This software was written specifically for our WG diesel models, and can access all modules on the vehicle.

I would recommend paying the $30 odd dollars for the Pro version as it does work well. You can even alter the pinion ratio to correct your speedo.
