Thanks guys, I'll pass on your comments. He is interested in making anything I have suggested jeeps as a starting point. I will reply soon with his reply and when he may be starting. Duncan I will get back to you about your designs & stuff thanks a lot.

So Brisey, is he going ahead with it ? If so where abouts is he.
By light steel fabrication do you meen welding, or will he be doing machining as well.

Hi Moose, sorry about not replying earlier I haven't had access to the internet for a while. I believe he is very interested in starting but he is heading off for a trip around Australia soon so I expect he may start when he gets back. He has a farm in Meredin but is contemplating retiring to Rockingham. He has a a good machine shop set up and is capable of gas & mig welding. Fabricating things like spare wheel carriers bash plates and the like are not a problem. If he starts doing this stuff at the farm it won't be a problem as he comes to Perth regularly. As soon as I get more information I will pass it on.
