KL wiring access
Has anyone with KL Cherokee found a reasonable place to run wiring through that is you can maintain waterproofing?
Found a couple of spots but no way to get your hand to them to tape them up again. There is one near the brake pedal which appears to be a plastic plug aboht 3 to 4 cm, maybe a waterproofing cable grommet is avail to replace it?

That's interesting, the KK also has a large plug near the brake booster. But it's rubber so most of us just poke a hole in it and feed the cables through. Plus it's easy to access from both sides. Worst case you could replace yours with a rubber one from Clarks.

This ones actually near the brake pedal, as the booster is still on our passenger side!! A large torsion bar runs across the (inside) of the firewall to the original US brake booster location!
Might have a closer look at the plug and see if I can reach it, the engine bay is so tight can hardly reach the firewall anywhere - and no access from underneath due to all the skid plates.

Lol, how funny is that. Reminds me of a dodgy RHD conversion. Given you're handy with a drill perhaps it's time to create one in a more convenient location. Not that I condone that sort of thing even though I drilled 18 holes into the sheet metal of my KK in the last week. [emoji38] Good luck mate.

Found a large grommet with the main wiring loom that had a second cable tube unused but sealed. Gathering all my contortionist skills I got my hand past the ABS block and got a pair of cutters in and snipped the tip off it. Fed through some coat hangar wire with a draw wire on it into the engine bay from the passenger footwell then taped on the antenna cable, power for the brake controller, power for the UHF and witimg for the driving light switch. Lubricated it up and pulled it through.
What a pain in the backside that was! All wired up and all working though.
Except I forgot to run the cable for the anderson plug... Looks like tomorrow I pull it all apart again!
