Exactly the same experience. The fron was close at 23mm, but the rear was around 10mm short of the mark. I test-fitted multiple times before cutting more! I also cut the liner a bit, then clipped it up with one of those spring clips from officeworks until, like you, I plan to drill and puch in a plastic clip.

I though the fit issue was just me - interesting to hear it seems universal.

Im sure ive read the same experience from someone else that they would have positioned the template further back than the 23mm.
But i had to cut 10mm more metal away from the rear just to close the bonnet!
All ok it ended up a good neat job and the trim covers the cut out area well, but due to stuffing around as to how much more to cut took me a lot longer than 90mins! (u work quick, or i work slow lol)

Also you end up cutting off one hood insulation lug and the insulation liner hangs down, ive just taped the edge up now, but a 'Clip' in the AEV kit along with mentioning the liner needs to be cut would of been nice, not a drama i'll make up something, probably just drill a hole and fit a push in xmas tree plastic plug where the white tape is in the pic, i.e, be same as the other 5 plugs that hold the rest of the liner in place.
Good Quality Snorkel even though it says Made in China!

If you go the aux tank pay extra to get the 4mm version. I did in the JKU 3.6 and it's strong...and very well built. Highly recommend if you travel

Definitely the only Tank to go for is the Heavy Duty double skin base!
I had one for 5 years on the old 07 JK and never an issue, and i dragged that car over everything! but I've seen the Std Base type with dents on other brand vehicles.

This is after getting my new AEV Savegre wheels and 285/70/17 BFGoodrich A/T's and the AEV rear bumper.

Few more things to come. Just ordered a tow hitch and wiring harness.

And a bestop saddle bag. Woohoo!

And then like, 1000 other things. Haha!
