Thanks Dave. Not thinking of flexi coils. Most likely AEV or teraflex kit. So standby for future updates from my driveway job. Hope the jeep (and I) survive ......

I managed to get the 4 for 3 deal on a set of duratracs at the acacia ridge store. They said it might be a couple of months but it's worth the wait. 4x 285/70/17 with tyre insurance for $1500 fitted. I rang a bunch I places but only the acacia ridge store was happy to order now with the promotion and wait for delivery.

I have seen a couple of posts around with people putting 305/70's and even 35's on the stock 17" rims, what are the general thoughts here?

Yeah I have seen a few reports too, interesting that many 285's rub on stock rims (mine dont - miss by about 10mm).
35's on the other hand would definitely need spacers to fit past the first speedhump.

What are the advantages of running an aftermarket rim if you are just running 285 size tyres?
