Hi

Great news - put me down for one.

Does this involve connections and new harnesses to both Quadra Lift PCBs? If so, is it possible to extent the length of the new harnesses to allow the PCBs to be moved? I'd like to get them above floor level.

I'm hoping the harnesses and connectors will not cost more than the LR ones which are made in the UK so that the kits cost on par with the LR kits which retail for nearly $600 from resellers. If the harnesses are significantly less than the LR ones then the kit price will be accordingly less. I'd like to start at an introductory price direct from me but will need to swap to using resellers at some time.

The Llams module will have a connector header the same as the suspension module (its a long single header) to accept the existing connectors and will have harnesses with 2 identical connectors to plug into the suspension module. Individual harness versions of the suspension module header are not available. The Llams harness length is envisaged to be only long enough to locate the Llams module over the back of the suspension module. So even if the Llams harnesses were long, the original connectors still have to plug into the Llams module. However as the cost of a Llams module is low compared with a suspension module (over $2.5K), a Llams module with long harnesses to allow the suspension module to be mounted somewhere high (where might that be and how long would the harnesses need to be?) would be far cheaper to replace. As the harnesses will be made with connectors at one end only so that the other end can be soldered to the Llams pcb, perhaps I could order the harnesses with long wires so that both short and long versions can be produced. Any suggestions on length?

Edit: Initial harness prices have been received and are a little less than the LR versions so still progressing.
Jan 24th: Initial harness order now paid but 4 mths to make the connectors and harnesses.

That is good news - let me check on the best location for the PCBs to be relocated - I'm thinking that relocating them to under the seat wouldn't be too hard. I'll also check to see if I can mount the PCBs under the dash in front of the centre console. I'll let you know.

The project is progressing - here is a pic of the pcb and header into which the Jeep connectors will be plugged.
