Default Replacing Ball Joints

After taking the WG for a tune and throttle & Injector clean, I was told by the dealership that I need to replace the ball joints to correct the tendency for the Grand to veer left.
Has any one got further information they can give me as it's an expense in excess of $900!!
also any one know anything about the Throttle Body Valve. apparently I need to replace that as well at a cost of over $380.
Finally the Blend doors need replacing as well but at $1400, i'll live with cold coming out at the feet.
Thanks again

wow $1400 seems very cheap for blend doors.
Did the tune up etc make much of a difference?
Sorry i can't answer your questions, only ask more...

Bikemat
$1400 is fro parts and labour. They need to remove the dash , parts $500 rest labour
Only got back home 5klm from dealer, so not sure if the "clean" did any good. I have a funny feeling I wasted my money but will see after a weeks driving. These are thing you realy need to trust people on but I think many times they guess and then hope for the best.

If you want to clean the throttle body and notice a difference buy the engine combustion cleaner from jeep spare parts (mopar product), spray into the throttle body and the all the gunk comes out of the exhaust, I can vouch that it really works and not a gimmick, the bottle is $33.

Mascot motors will do it cheaper for the valve and replace it yourself same as the ball joint, as for the blend doors $140 on ebay.com plus shipping and 2 hours of your time without removing the dash.

I wouldn't buy the blend doors from Jeep as they only replace them with the same type which will just break again. Have a look on Jeeps Unlimited and there is a thread about this and I think it has links to the blend doors with metal axles (Jeep's are plastic which is why they break) which should last longer.
