Cool Replacement pedals

My brake pedal rubber was starting to wear so I looked up the price of a replacement.
After I picked myself up off the floor I searched eBay and found these advertised for a WK2

They don't fit (brake pedal to wide)

So then I purchased these that are meant for a KL Cherokee for $34.00
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2X-Foot-...53.m2749.l2649

The accelerator fitted fine but the brake had movement and may have fallen off so I used some sealant to keep it in place just to be on the safe side.

Default

One of my fuel injectors started to leak blow-by (the infamous black death). It's more then likely has been leaking since I replaced them.

The tell tail sign is you smell exhaust (with a hint of diesel) coming through the air vents at idle.
If you start to smell this don't just ignore it as the fix will become harder the longer you delay.

Now you can fix this 2 ways.
1 Merc copper seal
or
Honda HONDA CIVIC 2.2 CTDi DIESEL INJECTORS SEALS

The Honda seals are a bit thicker but are softer so they seat the same but make a better seal (or that's what the UK Merc guys say).

I fitted the Honda one tonight and it appears to have done the job.

I will post again if it fails but I reckon its sweet.

The clean-up is a bitch so as I said fix it straight away.

To find which injector it was I dribbled a bit of water around each injector, the blow by instantly sprayed the water everywhere so its not hard to diagnose.
