didn't the holdens green dash lights get rated the best for your eyes? saw something on it a while ago. :s

Hmm so if I was to change my interior lights to red it would make night driving a little easier on the eyes?
but prolly look like a total tool.

I changed my roof lights and footwell lights to Blue LED's and I can't see sh*te!!!!

No, it's all very true - but I don't think blue is the best colour. To retain night vision you need red light as it is the lowest frequency in the visible spectrum and has least effect on your eyes. When on board ship at night all cabin lights in the bridge / nav areas will be red so that night vision is no so baddly affected. That is also why you can sneak up on a lot of animals in the dark using a red torch, as many animals see using the higher blue/violet end of the spectrum. People like National Geographic used to use red light for night filming.
