Hey Guys, Figured I'd just post an update. I got a reply from David in regards to the Adelaide jeep club. Pretty quick to respond, he just sent me some general info about the club and what normally happens and so on.
I'm keen to give Saunders a go, especially if it means meeting up with some other Jeepers.
I'm keen to meet up too. Have not heard anything back after the enquiry I sent on the club website. I've been to Saunders before in my Prado, and except for a few spots requiring high clearance, it's a good introductory trip. Not overly difficult or technical, mostly a farm track through the hills. I would not however attempt the high clearance part unless my Grand gets a lift first.
I'm keen to head out there. Ill only be doing the simple stuff though as I hoped to get my lift in before next weekend but due to unavailability (and slightly due to me being lazy) I haven't even ordered it yet!
I expressed an interest but did not get any response from the Adelaide Jeep Club. They don't seem to be as active as a few years back judging from their website.
We could have a mini AusJeep run from here. Could make it Jakem Farm. Went up and camped there on the weekend, some great tracks, much better than last time I went.
