Come and Try Weekends

Just a reminder to all that the Adelaide Jeep Club hosts Come and Try weekends regularly throughout the year for existing, new & potential members.

The next weekend is being held 29-30 Aug 2009 at Saunders Gorge. See the club calendar for further info or e-mail president@adelaidejeepclub.com

A following Come and Try is planned for the 31 Oct - 1 Nov @ Barmera, again keep an eye on the calendar for further details once available.

29 Jun -01 Jul Saunders Gorge Sanctuary

This is a Come ‘n’ Try weekend camping and 4WDing at Saunders Gorge Sanctuary (formerly known as Clovelly Sheep Station). The whole of the 1364 hectare (4000 acres) station has been declared a Sanctuary to protect its flora and fauna. It is 17kms East of Mt Pleasant on the road to Walker Flat in the Adelaide Hills. The campsite is in a picturesque setting alongside Saunders Creek with a rugged gorge of the same name rising to the West and Murray Flat plains to the East. There is a self drive 4WD track that takes about 3hours depending on numbers in the group.
