I'm sure with your fabricating skills, could extend the standard pan. Use one that you have lying around..

oh Nakkas! what am i going to do with it once i have a GenIII and a 4L65/80E?!?!?!? im thinking its simpler to buy the chev deep sump pan and tranny and fit it to a V8! afterall, swapping is easier than fabricating

I,ve got a deep pan on mine (3 speed tho)
Couldnt you just cut two pans up and make your own?

yeah i could cut it up and even put some air tubes in there. just checked it to see if there is enough clearance over the longarm crossmember and there is tons of room. even enuf for Nakkas' internal cooler. had a look today at a second cooler to go in front of the rad and a hd 1050cfm fan to replace the stock weenie 490cfm auxiliary fan (which should help a bit with engine cooling as well). just need to decide which route to take. irregardless its on the back burner for now

Started my Transmission cooler project.
There will be only the cooler and no radiator heat exchanger, I will have to see how this goes.
It's all very Beta at the moment.
