Not a buggy - quadcopter!
Got 2 quads, first one is a Flamewheel F450 that I put together from various DJI parts and have had some great fun with it. Wanted something slightly smaller with a 3 axis gimbal so now also have a Phantom 2. Other than for the fun of flying I use them for exploration and trip footage. Adds some nice highlights to the final edit when mixed with the usual ground level footage. There's at least one other KK driver here with a quad.

I'll pull together a list and send you a pm. And yes, getting a cheap from Kmart is a good idea. It'll save you money and heartache down the line!

Sweet, thanks
Do you know how to "configure" the autopilot functionality in these?
Is it also a controller that you can add in?

You can drop in any number of controllers that replace the KK2.0 I've got on it. Hillsjeep's Multiwii is one of several really good ones that can do the autopilot stuff.
I got the KK because it is programmable straight on the machine itself. Others need to be plugged into a PC or Mac to configure it. It's a one-off job, though. Set and forget. You can also use a computer to set waypoints if you want it to fly a circuit.

The multiwii does take a lot of setting up, this is the screen of the configuration software you download from multiwii although it has probably changed a bit now, but once you get it tuned it flies really well, auto hovers and returns home.
