Tillix valve works by opening under a set pressure. Fitted in Hose from boost to tee in vacuum line before turbo actuator. When boost reaches set pressure, eg 16psi, valve opens negating any vacuum letting actuator close and dropping boost.

Have replaced solenoid. Didn't think thee could go partly bad. Thought they either worked oR didn't. wrong.
Amazing difference , drivability has improved no end. Boost gauge doesn't jump around. Smoke has gone, no dirty great cloud when you put the foot down. And none at idle that I can notice. Probably why it was over boosting as well. Probably don't need tillix now. Bought used so no big expense.

I've been reading about adding small amounts of acetone to diesel - as in less than 35ml to a 70l tank (1:2000 mix) or even half this. It reportedly improves atomisation in the injector spray thereby improving combustion. Others report no change.

I'm skeptical, but considering giving it a try.

Any thoughts? At such low amounts is it likely to damage plastics?

Rear diff went bang yesterday.
Pulling it out tonight. Hopefully just axle but who knows. Varilok too so could be fun finding bits. Bloody Jeep.

Anyone tried fuel doctor?

My crd throws water in fuel light regularly.

Mine started doing that a few months ago. It turned out to be a sensor fault, not water in the fuel. You can get them from RockAuto.

Spun the splines off the end of right rear Axel and spider gear in diff.

Metal in all bearings even pinion.
Tipping its in the friction plates as well.

Found complete varilok setup , axle to axle.

So out with the old.
