Are you guys testing when cold or warmed up?

My trim values vary dependent on temp as well as the surging ect.

The leak test started cold, but it had warmed a little during the test. The fuel correction test was hot. Mine doesn't change much. The surging has stopped. It was an air leak.

Interesting.

I'll leak back test mine tomorrow.

I have zero issues starting, excellent fuel economy and no noticeable loss of power.

Just a surge with the AC on...

The leak-off might not be enough to cause starting/cutout but could be enough to make it surge.

I don't remember mine cutting out with the leak-off posted but it did surge a bit.

After the professional diagnosis, number 4 is the only injector close to in spec, but even it is out when hot. I'm up for 5 injectors.

Better to fix them now rather than leave it until it stops running.

At least prices are pretty good these days. The easiest way to replace them is to cut a 50mm hole above 4/5 then mastic is a 50mm grommet to seal up the hole. Hopefully, the injectors will be easy to extract. When you install them use the Merc ceramic grease as this should make them much easier to extract next time.

Yeah, I have the $2 per gram grease! I also have 4 spare stretch bolts and a slide hammer/claw. Need to buy a chassis punch, another stretch bolt, and an injector port blanking plug/cleaning brushes.

The mechanic is going to quote on doing the job. If it's not silly I might pay him to do it. It does de-risk things. Apparently 4 & 5 are not only the hard ones to access, but also the most likely to be stuck hard.
