Down side, you are out the cost of the tank and you add 30 kg to the car.
For me, that is worthwhile.

Fair enough and gotta get what suits you!
When we travel outback we have the van in tow and two jerry can holders on that are great for extra diesel. We can also carry one more on the Pioneer Platform on the roof of the Jeep if needed.
We are all different and have different needs!
