No having to fill the jerry cans, no contamination from dusty jerry cans, no having to lift jerry cans to fill the tank, no stopping to fill the tank even - just push a button. Not towing, my range is Melbourne to Hervey Bay.

Down side, you are out the cost of the tank and you add 30 kg to the car.

For me, that is worthwhile.

Fair enough and gotta get what suits you!

When we travel outback we have the van in tow and two jerry can holders on that are great for extra diesel. We can also carry one more on the Pioneer Platform on the roof of the Jeep if needed.

We are all different and have different needs!

Cheers,
Sally

Bit off the thread, but where is the best place to get that hose that blew?
I plan on replacing radiator hoses, coolant etc before next trip & might as well do this one at the same time.
Looked on mopar america & a couple of other sites & couldn't find a listing for it. Might have to try the local stealership.

Mines insured new for old for ten years with all the accesories (providing the premiums don't go to high)

I might wait for a TSB, after all it could just be a one off

Yeah, a bit early to go changing hoses after 1 report of a failure.
