Hydro fan lost its fluid

Hey guys, noticed fluid coming from under my care, looked under and its all from the radiator fan. just wondering what could have happened? is there a way I can change it too electric (as i have a spare sitting around) or do i need to replace it?

Check the fan solenoid valve "O" ring, may have split.

Anything's possible Kane96,

You'd need to have a bypass hydraulic hose manufactured.
Either remove the feed circuit from the pump to the steering rack OR
Simply insert where the hydraulic fan used to be.
And the trigger on the solenoid could be used as a multi-stage electrical trigger for your new thermo-fan.
Be a lot of mucking around though

That does sound like a lot of hassle and possibly more expense lm will have to look into what has actually failed on her

Fan solenoid. Man modern cars are becoming complex.

Fluid has gone everywhere. One of the high pressure lines was loose. Might have been that. Trying to loosen one of the lines atm. It wont budge... going to be good once it comes out and i can have a better look. Unfortunately i cannot find any motors under 400 or whole assembly under 700 so hopefully it is a o ring i can replace. Either that or ill look into replacing with a electric fan as i already have the SPAL fan sitting there from my old wrangler

The Hemi and CRD both have hydraulic fans and the fan motors are interchangeable.
