I noticed that some Stock Rubi's came without mudflaps.... I wonder how that works with the legalities...

Mopar with tyre carrier

Is that MOPAR tyre carrier listed on their website something they have built or is it a factory option on the Mopar steel rear bar?

My CRD unlimited came without mudflaps as well. I'd suggest as long as any after market rear bar covered the same amount of tyre as it did stock (before any lift) they'd be alright.

So is there any more information on this bar or any derivatives of it??
Darren from Autocraft who built that prototype is currently touring up the desert for the next week or so but believe he is going to make a limited run of them when he returns. Although the rear bar is pretty much set there is some scope to customise the wheel carrier to suit individual needs. ie: High lift/shovel/Jerry carrier.
Try here http://www.auto-craft.com.au/
Gave it a good shake down at the Jeep Muster & came through without any rattles. Very sturdy.

The Olympic Smuggler rear bar would be an advantage to those who have large tyres & stuffed backs as the carrier can be lowered vertically to bolt the tyre on.
