Default LSD on steroids

Well... That'd the best way I can describe it
My diff got tired of being open centred with a flogged out LSD, it decided to lock itself...
Now it will crack and clunk fiercely when I power on around corners, however remains quiet on straights, has no vibrations, and at highway speed you would never know, but when i give the boot it just binds, I can put one wheel on the black top, and the other on dirt and hell for leather it doesnt miss a beat, but unlike an.LSD.. its fierce, less forgiving than an auto locker, on or off...
I plan to take it out for a look when I get some new fluid but in the meantime
Anyone else had this?

Cheers toff, I was suspecting the LSD had collapsed internally, although I couldn't be sure
It does sound Like shattered clutch plates, as for a swap... Should I even bother with the D35? Maybe I'll do the 9 inch swap sooner than I planned... For 500 bucks its hard to go wrong
