Howdy all......one for the maths boffins.....Changed my mind about buying KM2's (too much road driving to work for my JKU), and decided to get the bridgestone D697LT's. I was looking for 265/70/17, I still have the standard 245/75/17 on my jeep. But the closest size i can find in the 697's is 265/65/17.......im just wondering if i will lose tyre height and by how much?
Easy quick way if only aspect ratio changed 5% x2 (top and bottom sidewall) = 10%. 10% of the width (265) = 26.5 mm difference.
697 are a great tyre but if you want 265/70x17 try Mickey Thompson ATZ 4 rib, tho I think these are being phased out and replaced by the slightly more aggressive ATZ P3. better load index which is a good thing
