Default Heading north from Brisbane towards Agnes Waters & 1770
Heading away for 4 days up towards Agnes Waters & 1770, are there any good spots off the beaten track to camp close to the beach??, what sort of 4WD tracks get you into Deepwater NP, not looking for anything too hard as its a camping trip with the wife but would like to keep away from the main hwy if possible and explore our way up from Brisbane...we will be leaving after work 4pm Friday and pl;an to drive for at least 3 hours.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I drove the Grand into Deep water no problems from the Bundy side in September. The road was smooth gravel the whole way. I then drove up to 1770 through the national parks. Made it no problems, but being in a stock Grand I should have had someone with me for those bits.

Very nice camping spot, nice quiet beach. Has good drop pit toilets and a cold outdoor shower. Just need to take your own hot shower and there aren't any fires allowed.

consider Moore park head to Sylvan Sands and go along beach up to river mouth good camping and fishing spots if interested about 7 ks of beach to river north!
