Question Snorkel and (enclosed) cold air intake

Hi all,
Im looking to install a snorkel on my '05 wrangler. I've done my research on the snorkel and have weighed the cons and pros for it. with the snorkel I'm wanting to add a cold air intake in order to free up space inside the engine bay for a second battery.
So the battery would go where the stock filter box is now and the cold air intake would be positioned either beside the engine or above it, running across to the throttle body. snorkel enters the engine bay below the accessory tray on the RHD driver side of the car.

Has anyone done this on another thread or personally? if so what are your thoughts on it. any improvements to the design I'm thinking of?

Thanks in advance!

P.S new to this so apologies if i got this in the wrong place or whatnot

Default

I run a snorkel on my 05 TJ, a bit fiddley to fit but works well. I’ve keep the standard air cleaner and run a deep cycle AGM in the back on the passenger side. I have a custom draw system and it sits in an ARK battery box on top behind the passenger seat. This allowed me to fit the CETEK DC to DC charger inside as well
