Gold star to the first person who can spot a Trailhawk in the flesh and take a photo of the recovery hooks.

I went to my local dealer on the weekend but none in the yard.

I looked at a WK diesel Laredo last week, with the 3.0 CRD, off road group and quadralift suspension it came to around $55,000 drive away
I paid 52 and a bit for this specification 12 months ago including a tow bar and roof rails.

I've got the 2 tow hooks, came standard with my 2011 lerado. Photo attached, I've made a mesh bash plate for the radiator. I've used these tow hooks to get 5 tonne trucks out of mud on construction sites with a snatch strap. I can't see any problems with these ever breaking, I've pulled out a patrol that was down to the sills at Stockton beach with a snatch strap and had to get the speed up to do it.

You're lucky Nicholas but the 2012 on models only have a single recovery point and the later in the year you bought (can't remember when) it is not standard but a cost option.

I was going to stand corrected when I saw that link Briteway as i couldn't find the TrailHawk on the aussie site when I looked but I'm sceptical again now you've pointed out the LHD photo. Wonder if this could land Jeep in the poo again cause the wording does say "Flame-Red dual-front Tow Hooks foreshadow the predatory power this Grand Cherokee has to overcome and dominate any challenge".

Then again if they can bring in a dual hooked limited edition there is no reason they can't give us dual hooks for all. Unless we are just getting a US spec due to the limited model run.

At any rate TrailHawk is probably about the most popular and watched forum member on this site at the present time

I like the new Trailhawk the most out of all the new models. Be what I will get one day if the XJ ever needs replacing.

Rest assured, as soon as the car lands at my local dealer I will be heading over iPhone in hand.

It says hooks a few times so if its got one they better find me another one and I want it red
