Yes, all things I do consider...CV's as well as wheel bearings are never made to accept additional loadings above the manufacturer imposes. There is a "safety" margin which I guess we exploit when making mods such as bigger wheels and tyres. The front wheel bearings I imagine are the same on the WK2 as the WH being the front diff is essentially the same one.
I had both replaced on my WH and they were a sealed one piece complete unit - unservicable.
The current tyres do scuff a tad at full compression but are fine otherwise.
The additional half inch of height I will gain with the slightly bigger tyres will be valuable as far as i am concerned when tackling deep sand or even rutted muddy tracks...not so much towing the van as it will only put extra strain on the drivelive imo...
