sorry to bring this back from the dead..

in the search to rule out the injectors for my rough idle (see my little miss, big miss thread) i put in VR commodore injectors today.

didn't get rid of the pre-existing idle problem, but everywhere else (to redline) the response is crisper and seems more willing on accelleration. on will report economy later

these have the 4 very fine holes as opposed to 1 that the stock ones have, so even though they flow less than stock, they support the same or higher KW rating because more of the fuel is efficiently burned.

happy so far

now to rid the misfire..

I now fulfill my promise.

now that my ignition issues are sorted, i can now make a better assessment of the commodore injectors.

Much more response (snappier) very crisp throttle, less tendancy to downshift (happier to hold a steeper gear longer)

has nulled the negative effects of going to 31's (opinion)

measured 5-6% l/100k gain (do same k's each week and measured ltrs when refuelling) all city.

considering i scored the injectors for free, and there is measured mpg and subjective driveability gain, i say go for it!

v6

first glance it looks like it wont fit (different lookin) but crucial dimensions are identical and fits like a glove.
