Smile Jeeped another Pootrol today!

I had a great day out wheelin and got to really test my new winch - 1st real rescue! 3500kg bellied out on a steep hill

A Pootrol was precariously balancing on the side of 6ft drop so I setup a simple 1 snatch recovery - mainly to get the pull on my winch and the pull on the pootrol perfectly lined up

I suspected if I didnt pull it carefully at the right angle it could tip over!

before I started I hooked my towbar d bolt recovery point with a tree protector to a nearby tree to ensure the Pootrol didnt pull me down the hill -

funnily enough the "pootrol guyz" hanging around hadnt noticed! me do this! - the look of surprise when my little 2dr jeep dragged the pootrol (without moving a millimetre) skidding on its belly up hill was priceless LMAO.

sorry the video quality is cr@p Phone cam

cheers Hunty

Smile Jeeped a Jackeroo today

I dragged a mates Jackeroo up a slimey hill @ Jenolan state forrest today in the rain! - I am locked on 33' km2's - the Jackeroo was also locked on 33' muddies - I cant explain how I had more traction than the Jack - we were not bellied out, I guess it boils down to tyre technology - KM2's won!
