Check that hose is connected near the brake fluid reservoir not sure what its called.

I think you may be talking about the vacuum line, it's what charges the brake booster so you don't have to be the hulk to stop the car.

Finally go the the interior LED set up on the centre console under the radio. Works fantastic and is linked up to the interior lights:



Mate got his JEEP Leds hooked up (got them for his birthday), again with interior lights, mounted to the chassis rail. Gets a lot of attention when he unlocks the doors!
