I have my vehicle booked in next Thursday to have the fix kit installed here in Sydney, but there was a problem. Apparently there was a recall on the fix kit now!! The reason was a technician in the good ol USA hadn’t signed a piece of paper to make it all OK to use.....😳

This was all sorted in a week and of last Tuesday the green light was given again to install the fix kits. FCA in Melbourne tell me that all dealers have been sent fix kits and they have plenty more in stock if required. There is now no reason that this damn towbar issue cannot be put to bed.

What did they do? New bar or just new fitting kit?
