thats what I was talking about

better than being in the way every time you open the boot

probably equally easy to damage

I've found the MorRyde jerry can holder to be ideal for an extra 20L. Easy to remove the holder when not in use and the jerry can mounts easily with an option for anti-theft via a pushbike style lock.

I run the maximus-3 carrier, has some modular options, 2x rotopax between tyre and rear window, 2x to the right of tyre, and a NATO can between those and our drivers side tail light. The hi lift and spade mounts etc.. use up some of these spots but if you only carried fuel you could mount a fair bit I think. If I started again though I'd probably go for a bar mounted carrier that fits more gear.

Do you think this setup would work or do you think it'd add too much extra stress on a stock tyre mount and hinges with a 33" on the back? https://www.extremeterrain.com/barri...t-j102518.html

Mate, where can I get one in Australia? I'm having trouble finding someone who stocks them?

I wish there was a stockist in Australia, if there was I reckon it'd sell very well!
I ordered mine from ExtremeTerrain.com and used MatesFreight freight forwarding.
Not the most cost effective with current exchange rates and GST, but excellent workmanship.

I should also mention that MorRyde make a really good tailgate reinforcement/hinge setup if you wanted a heavy spare and Titan tank or similar.
