At work we have a hilux with the fragile 3.0 D4D motor that was
stolen when new with 500km on the clock. They filled it with bug fuel
which is 3 parts diesel and 1 part petrol and drove it until it ran out
of fuel (140L) and then filled it with straight petrol, some how it kept
running long enough to be in a police chase where it finally
stopped going. We just cleaned it out and it has done 50000km since.
Doesn't seem to have much power but that could be just because it's a auto.

Anyway don't be resigned to it shitting it's self as it may Have no issues

Thats a crazy story, I've never heard the term bug fuel before.

I am awaiting the AN6 line and fittings to arrive in the mail, I'll post some pictures when I get it back up and running. Should take about two weeks to receive everything.
