Pulled the gear box out of my latest xj. I hate auto's

What is that cable that runs off the throttle to the gearbox?

finally got around to picking up a roof cradle to mount the narva 200s' that have been sitting in the shed for a few months on

full length so will be happy when its on and ready for the easter weekend...had the new 31"s fitted with some sunraysias' and went for a play in the mud..didnt even have to engage 4wd !!! but of flare rub so maybe some trimming /and/or more lift

also helped a mate buy a jeep, i think in the end we got him down to about 3k, car needs a bit of work for reg but thinking of sticking it on red plates as he is only in Vic once every few weeks

Hey Mm.
Thats the kickdown cable. Helps with shift points and down shifting.

My jeep looked this.



So I changed it to this....... Put 31s on it.



Then this happened at 11pm doing I think 60ish. The tyres had been given to me. They were old. Apparently too old.



So I went back to this.

I've been stuffing around with a coupla cylinders and some fittings trying to jerry up an OBA outfit using my You Beaut ALDI Air Compressor.
I dunno, think I'm going to have to just suck it up and spend some money...

Default What did you do to your XJ today ?

Fitted my trusty Aldi winch.
Jungle Juice provided a spare shaft which I fitted on the weekend and all is good. My new Repro shaft is going back to the supplier!!
