The Diesels only $4K dearer if you never sell it. If you do sell it will probably hold its value better than a sport, so it's only $1 or $2K's dearer.

Petrol engine with a couple of LSD's has got me out of many holes that diesel drivers with lockers got stuck in, can't beat the off the mark punch of a decent petrol engine. Even turbo disels need to spool up, when you only got a 6 inch runnup it's not enough for a diesel. Then of course turbo petrols or a nice V8 are better yet
