Hahaha, it's the last decision you'll get to make! Seriously there are as many unwritten rules as there are families and each seem to do things alittle differently. My daughter and her fiance have planned theirs together and it seemed to be a good way to handle it.

If we're making recommendations, look up 'Couple Resorts' in Jamaica - absolutely awesome 5 star resorts and everything is inclusive, including all drinks of any nature etc.
No kids are allowed so it is peaceful too, unfortunately we won't get the chance to go back for many years to come - due to the kids we now have......which we are very fortunate to have ;-)

Come up to cairns still in australia you have the reef and the rain forest and you can go on a cpl of day cruises from here out to different spots on the reef there is so much to do and its the most pretty place in the world and you can do driveing bit to heaps of great roads up threw the mountains and up the coast there is one section of road where the mountians covered in rainforest comes down to the beach and there is a little bit where the road go most stunning drive in australia and the fishing is great and the weather here will be perfect at that time of year

I'm with Seacomms, We spent 3 weeks in Thailand and it was the best 3 weeks of my life....
But then again WA is really nice too.
I tip I have about imput regarding wedding preperation.
Whatever she says/asks for say YES
The on every 7th request say NO (This is important, it shows your listerning)
Then give in and say YES
However stressed you get, she is goign to be roughly 1000X more

back in the day we honeymooned on a house boat on the hawkesbury, combined a bit of cruising with fishing and swimming, plenty of places to explore and plenty of oysters to eat ;-)

we went to Koh Samui ... ( dont go Phuket ) and stayed at the top end of the island for 3 weeks. personal pool , awesome villa on a hill, best time i;ve ever had and not as touristy so you dont get bugged all the time.
